TWO PEOPLE HAVE been charged over an incident in which a one-year-old boy was shot in the head with an air gun.
Harry Studley remains in a critical condition in Bristol’s Children’s Hospital with a serious head injury after he was shot by a pellet from an air gun.
Jordan Walter (24) and Emma Jane Horseman (23), of Bishport Avenue, Bristol have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Bristol Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
The incident
The incident occurred at a house in Hartcliffe on Friday afternoon.
Police said in a statement yesterday that they were called to a house just after 4.10pm on Friday and that they were investigating the incident.
“At this time we’re treating this as a potentially negligent act,” Detective Inspector Jonathan Deane said yesterday.
Harry’s family released a statement this morning thanking people for their support.
“We would like to thank everyone for their continuing support at this time,” the statement reads.
Harry is still very poorly and we would reiterate that our request for privacy be respected as we and our family come to terms with what has happened.
